Guitar Instruction

Music has been an integral part of Michael's life. He has taught guitar privately and in group settings to students of all ages throughout Cook, Lake, and McHenry County.

Michael received a bachelor's degree in guitar performance from McNally Smith College of Music in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has performed in numerous bands over the years playing genres which include rock, blues, jazz, funk, fusion, metal, and pop. Michael has experience as a composer and arranger, as well.

Michael uses a variety of teaching methods while providing ongoing feedback to ensure students are progressing according to their talent and abilities. Students of all ages adore Michael as a teacher. They appreciate his patience, humor, and belief in their abilities and success. Michael takes great pride in passing on the knowledge, skill, and techniques he has gained to students who wish to become great guitar players, but most importantly great musicians.
